The best way to increase the lifespan of you vehicle wrap is to have your vehicle hand washed. Using high pressure washers can decrease the life expectancy of the wrap. Our wraps are guaranteed from the manufacturer to protect vehicles that are less than 5 years old as these have OEM paint. If you vehicle has been repainted then we cannot guarantee that the paint job will be perfect when you remove the vinyl wrap.

\nHow Do I Prepare The Vehicle For The Wrap? <\/strong><\/p>\n

Our instructional videos go into detail on this subject. \u00a0Preparation is the Key to a successful installation.\u00a0 It all starts with a clean vehicle.\u00a0Do not<\/u> use any wax or Armor-All type products not even on the tires as this may accidentally get on the painted surface of the vehicle and not allow the vinyl\u2019s adhesive to stick.\u00a0 If the vehicle has been recently waxed or is an older vehicle it is highly recommended to Clay Bar the vehicle. This is easily done.\u00a0 Online videos are available that show this procedure.

What Is The Design Process Like?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Once you fill out the all-important project questionnaire, our designer will help you with ideas for your vehicle\u00a0and collaborate with you using our using our RealTimeDesign screen share technology along with a discovery call -to get you the look you want<\/a>. \u00a0Within 24-48 hours of us receiving your project questionnaire, you will be presented with an initial draft of your cargo van\u2019s layout via email. After you look over this initial layout and consider any changes and adjustments you want, just reply to the email and include your changes. The designer will implement these changes and send you a 2nd draft layout. \u00a0Depending on the number of revisions contained in your package, you’ll receive additional revisions in the same manner. \u00a0However, if you need to make a further revision, no problem. There is a charge for extra revisions. \u00a0Your designer will implement any changes and adjustments you request. \u00a0You\u2019ll be emailed a final draft reflecting your changes. Upon your approval and sign-off, we\u2019ll get your graphics package produced and shipped out to you usually within 7 business days.<\/p>\n

\nKeep in mind that the graphic representation you see on the item pictured will not necessarily be your exact make and model. This is vinyl that contains small holes or perforations that allow certain windows to be legally covered with a print -yet the occupants inside the vehicle can still see outside through the windows.<\/a>

What Percentage Of The Vehicle Can Be Covered?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Common styles of coverage are 1\/4, 1\/2, 3\/4, and full coverage. \u00a0Our packages are inspired by these traditional coverage schemes.

When Should The Roof Be Wrapped?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Since many vehicles have a roof that is out of an average person’s range of vision, the common practice is to NOT wrap the roof since this requires more material and labor and no one sees it anyway! \u00a0On other vehicles such as cars that have a lower roof profile, the roof SHOULD be wrapped since it actually is in the field of vision of most people. \u00a0The exception to this would be if the design package doesn’t include the roof.

What Is A Roof Maximizer?<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

When a vehicle has a roof that is too high to be seen, the roof is not wrapped since it really doesn’t show. \u00a0However, there are portions of the ‘roof’ of the vehicle that are seen. \u00a0That is to say, the areas of the roof that begin the transition downward to the sides of the vehicle. \u00a0A ‘roof maximizer’ means that enough vinyl is figured into the design so as to cover these areas -thereby giving the impression that the entire roof is covered.

How Long Does It Take?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Much depends on you. Once we receive your order, you\u2019ll receive \u2013via email -a Project Questionnaire (PQ) form. We ask that you answer the questions and submit the form back to us within 24 hours if possible. We cannot proceed to the next stage until we receive your filled-out PQ.
\nOnce you turn in your PQ, your designer will get to work on your design. With 2 business days you\u2019ll receive your initial mock-up design. After you receive your initial mock-up design, you will get up to 3 revisions \u2013depending on your package.
\nOnce the design is approved by you, we go to print. Due to mandatory curing times of new prints and other processes, we can have your new graphics package on it\u2019s way to you within 5 business days. Therefore 2-3 weeks is a typical turnaround time when a custom design is involved. Again, the timing depends much on you since we need your input at all stages along the way.<\/a><\/p>\n

What Is A Design Revision And How Long Does It Take?<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

After you look over the initial mock-up layout submission, if you need to make a revision, your designer will implement any changes and adjustments you request. You\u2019ll be emailed a revised draft reflecting your changes. This is one revision.
\nOften much time can be saved by meeting with our designer utilizing our RTD online screen share. Once again, the amount of time needed for one revision depends much on you. We will do our part in implementing any changes (revisions) you request in a timely manner (within 2 business days), but we cannot implement those revisions until we receive the request from you. So the sooner we get the request from you, the sooner we get back to you.

What If I Need More Design Revisions Than Originally Included In My Package?<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you need additional revisions, this is not a problem \u2013we want you to be happy with the final design. There is a modest charge for each additional revision<\/a>. Keep in mind that the reason we are able to keep our costs so low is that we limit the revision rounds \u2013our experience has proven that the number of revisions included in a given package is sufficient for almost all jobs we see within the scope of that package.

Are Wraps\u00a0Hard To Install?<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you watch our instructional video, you will find that installing vinyl on a vehicle contains the same principles involved in putting a sheet on a bed.<\/a> If you have never put a sheet on a bed then you are in a category above the rest of us common folk and you are probably not reading this now. If you HAVE installed a bed sheet, then simply follow our detailed instructions contained in our videos and you\u2019ll see that you can do this. Understandably, installing a Premium level package is going to be more difficult than installing an Economy package. This is why we offer different package levels, different instructional video levels and different installation kit levels. You know your abilities and we are committed to assist you along the way.
